FAQs

Are your estimates free and how can I get one?
Yes, we offer free estimates for any job. Give us a call at 266-6561 and we can get that set up for you.

Are your estimates firm?
Yes. When we give you a price for a job that is the price you will pay. No surprises. Of course, any changes you make to the job may result in a change in price, but that will be discussed before work is performed. Estimates are valid for 6 months.

How much does it cost to trim a tree?
There are many factors that affect the price of trimming or removing a tree. Therefore, it’s impossible to give an estimate without looking at it. Fortunately, getting an estimate is easy and free. Just call us at 266-6561, you don’t even have to be home when we come by if scheduling is difficult for you. We can have an arborist come by and take a look at your tree and then give you a call to discuss your job and give you an estimate.

I think my tree is sick. Can you tell me what’s wrong with it?
Absolutely! We can do a free diagnosis on any tree. We are happy to come by and take a look at your sick tree and tell you exactly what is going on and recommend a treatment plan.

Are you licensed, certified, and insured?
Yes! We have all the necessary licenses and insurance needed to protect our customers and ourselves. This includes liability insurance and worker’s compensation insurance. We are happy to provide any documentation you require, including licenses and certificates of insurance.

We are licensed arborists with the city of Casper and ISA certified. A certified arborist is someone who has been trained in proper tree care. They have passed a comprehensive exam, developed by the leading experts on tree care.

ISA certification requires continuing education to ensure that ISA certified arborists are always up to date on changes in the tree care industry.
We are also licensed to apply chemical treatments to your trees, including ornamental tree pest control and disease eradication.

What is stump grinding and is it included in a removal?
Stump grinding is when we grind the stump down below ground level. It does not remove the roots; however, it does prevent the tree from growing back and will allow you to plant grass over the top.

Stump grinding is not included in the price of removing a tree. It is an additional charge and is typically done on a different day and billed separately. It is common to receive your invoice for the removal before the stump has been ground. You will receive a separate invoice for the stump grinding.

How do I know if my tree needs to be fertilized and how frequently should it be done?
If you are seeing less seasonal growth than usual your tree probably needs to be fertilized. Small leaves and die back in the crown are other common signs your tree is lacking nutrients.

Deep root fertilizer injects a liquid fertilizer directly into the root zone of tree. For most trees, one treatment in the spring is enough to maintain a healthy amount of nutrients.

I think I might have bugs in my trees! How can I be sure, and what do I do?
If you are seeing any type of curling or holes in leaves, crown die back, or what looks like sap dripping from tree you may have an infestation in your tree. We can treat this with insecticide. The type of bug that is living in your tree will determine the exact treatment method we will use to rid your tree of harmful pests.
